Tiare Moana Terrill, originally from Southern California, has lived in the Dallas area since 2005 with her husband David and their 5 children. 

She discovered a love of painting as a child. Creating has always been a part of her and she finds her best days are when she makes time to create in some way. A day spent at her easel is a day well spent. While Tiare mainly paints in acrylic these days, she also loves to dabble in watercolor and her first love, oils.

Her love for the abstract speaks to her deeply contemplative nature and comes through in the vivid intensity of her work. 

"Art is a bridge that connects us to the deepest parts of ourselves. It takes us places we might not ever arrive on our own. It awakens consciousness in us and forces us into the present. For me, creating brings me closer to a clear understanding of who I am this very moment, all the while challenging me to stretch myself to where I want to be. Every brush stroke or passing of my palette knife chips away at the outer layers revealing the unfiltered beauty that is true authenticity. There's so much power in that."
